How to Apply

 

Job Brochure

Download the job brochure from the vacancies page with all the information you need for the post you are interested in, the school and the Trust.

 

Apply Online

Complete your application online using our recruitment portal. If it's your first time applying through the portal, you'll be asked fill out your profile first, and then click to apply for the job you're interested in. If you've recently applied for a different job through our portal, your profile will be completed already, and you simply need to click to apply for the current vacancy. We'll keep in touch with you through the portal and you'll get emails when there's something you need to do.

Personal Statement

You'll be asked to write a personal statement (maximum 1000 words) as part of your application. It should address the following points:

  • why you are interested in this post and how you have prepared yourself so far
  • what contributions you feel you can make to pupils’ development within our school
  • any particular areas of strength and expertise you feel you may have

 

References

You will be asked to nominate two referees, one of whom must be your present employer. Close relatives are not accepted as referees, and two referees from the same school or organisation will not be accepted.

The process of calling for references is an important element of Safer Recruitment and therefore applications with nominated referees that do not meet the above rules will be rejected. Please take care to make sure your referees will be acceptable.

 

Criminal Records Self-Disclosure

If you are shortlisted for interview, you will be asked to complete a criminal records self-disclosure form. Further information and guidance are available here.

 

Online Searches

In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2022, as part of the shortlisting process we will carry out an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
